18th Feb 2008 - we arrived at Toyota collection centre at 8.35am. Finally, we're going to bring a Camry home. Much awaited, we did the procedure as told and i drove the car home. We left the old Mazda there, took 2 pictures with it. A little sad to part away with it. It has been with us for the past 4 years, ferrying us everywhere, help in moving house. Frankly, we have made full use of it, loaded with as much things as we can. Quite safe to have it with us in JB. It's like a little baby to us. I remember it came as a surprise to me. I've always likened it's design and build, it's meant for ladies, i thought. And just 1 month before wedding, BK brought me to see the car and the owner. He has placed a deposit for it. It was just 8 mths old then, owned by a young army officer who couldn't afford the instalment anymore. That point of time, we didn't had much $ after spending on renovation. But BK thought i like the car and we need one for transport between S'pore & JB weekly. That's how we got it.
Our old car has ferried us safely fm one point to another except one chained-collision along CTE. Fortunately, it's just a minor one with no one being hurt. Ehmmm, i still missed the car. But, Camry really made a difference. The feel, the cruising, the experience with its many functions. I hope it brings us luck, safety and good being.
