CNY preparation is truly tiring. Much so than working in the office. Almost everyday is about cleaning, washing and cleaning, washing..... A little pressure when come to visiting. Same question being asked, again and again. Sigh, my young cousin is 5 months pregnant with 2nd one. My colleague next door who married 1 year later than me is just 3mths pregnant. Heard Tricia who also married 1 year later than me is also 3mths pregnant now. There's nothing i can say except tired. Pls dun ask anymore...... sianz....
This year's celebration wasn't that exciting. We seriously consider going holiday during CNY now. Is it the age or what? Things were extremely expensive during this period. Everywhere is so crowded. Everyday cook, wash, clean up. There wasn't really time to 'waste' away, doing nothing. Even the company lo hei dinner at Tung Lok also felt so meaningless. Many colleagues were still not back from hometown. There isn't purpose. I wish i can go home early half-way thru. Miss my home man! And, there wasn't much mingling. What a start?
