Maksim Concert

Maksim Mrvica held his first concert in S'pore on 18th & 19th Nov. Very very impressed. Worth my A-seating. I was looking forward to this and has felt very excited about it. My mood got very high the moment he walked up the stage. Though a little skinny (but tall), he is attractive. The most impressive is his fingers, so flexible, so fast, so crisp, so neat. Ya, on every keys he played, the sound is so crisp and neat. And he is soooooo fast that the shadowy movement just seemed so nice.

Born in Sibenik, practicing on his piano in the underground when the war went on when he was only 15. Bombs fell constantly, Grenades everyday everywhere. For that period, there was only piano and him. When he first enter a competition in 1993, this 18 yr old then, was the winner. Combining classical with modern pop, he created inspiration and interest for young music learner. His fingers run so fast so fast. His music full of individual style and character. His performance unlike other pianist in the solemn way. He wore a sleeve rolled-up shirt and leather pants with bling bling shiny silver bracelet and belt. Sometimes big pendant.

He is just sooooo different and special. He is dashingly good-looking. He is Prince Maksim.
