Perfect only applies to something, an object, an item, an art piece.... And, it's individual. Everyone's idea, determination, explanation, liking, level, standard of perfection is different. And in Life, there is just no perfection. We are always chasing after a 'want' and some people, perfection, but to what extend would we stop?
When one is single, he/she would think "how nice if I have a girl/boyfriend?". When he/she found one, "how nice if he/she can be my spouse?". When they are gonna married, "how nice if we can have a perfect home?". When they have got a home, "when can we have a child?". "Let us have a child, just a healthy one will do". When the baby is growing, "how nice if he has big round eyes like mummy". "I wish he is a smart boy". "I hope he can get into xx school". After they have a boy, "how nice if we have a second baby". "How nice if the second one is a girl". There is no ending... cos people just getting greedy and greedier...
Take my own grandma for example, many old folks envious of the life she lead in the later stage of her life. Her filial children and grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. But her hardships, what she had gone thru was what nobody would wanted to experience. The bitterness days were over long ago and she has been enjoying happiness and harmony in our big family. Well, from the day I was born, at least, I knew. Still, she had regrets on the day she died. She regretted not being able to see the wedding day of her favourite grand-daughter which was going to happen in just 3 mths. She wished to live just a little longer to have more time with us, to carry another soon-to-born great-grandchildren in her arms. She couldn't. She didn't.
Till the day one is gone, there will be many things one hasn't complete, one hasn't had enough time to do... one hasn't say enough.... One will realise those only on that day...
