Travel Plan

It was almost ruined.... it is so unfair... If passengers were to cancel their booked tickets, a percentage of the paid funds will be forfeited. But if travel agency cancel their plan, they will make a full refund. To consumer is always lugi de. Well, we are always at the 'planner's' mercy. The time and $ spent, the chaos caused due to inavailabiltiy of last minute alternative plan etc....

ASA holiday can called and informed the airline didn't release tickets to them due to flight fully booked. And the earliest they can get seats now is 3 days earlier. Hey man, we booked the tour in early August and there were other 12 confirmed passengers.... how can this happen? at this time? After our booking, there were Natas fair, individual travel fair and weekend promos.... it is ridiculous this happen... We booked early becos of the date we want and didn't want to squeeze ourselves at the fair. So this is not the case, it still depend on our luck. Why are we so 'lucky'?

These few days has been scouting for alternative plan with other travel agency knowing we have the slightest chance. Parents and travel fanatics has delayed travelling since early this year cos of bad economics and uncertain job employment, plus H1N1.... Now everyone just 'chiong' during the year end holiday. And remember, the airfare & promo went dip low and 'crazily' siao to push up travel sales for almost half a year..... I thought i got quite a good deal for only $2288 that includes 2 days skiing.... ya, and this is wat happen when u got good deal. When there is demand, profit-maker would drop the least profitable plan?

Ok, the alternative plan would be very expensive, costing almost $1000 more.... Plus, it's gonna ruin my plan on F&E connection to other city. Local tour and transport is really ex. Looking at all possibilities, it is really not worth to make this trip. All becos of last minute arrangement and ticket availability. Half a year's planning plus the 'want', the 'dream fulfillment'..... yes, it's disappointing. But since it turned out this way, i have to accept it. With the funds oredi set aside, i'm considering other places... But, year end holiday,,, everywhere is full. Singaporeans really loves to travel. Europe, USA, Japan and many other countries are in recession, they will be happy to see all the Singaporeans flocking to their countries. Where should i go? haiz....
