Confinement

Ethen was home the following afternoon when his jaundice subside. Da-sao & bro was overjoyed. We met at the hospital. Something very amazing happen. Little Ethen laugh with 'sound' when we were in the feeding room talking about his nice ear. First time, or rather with my own ears i heard from a little BB whom is only 5 days old laughing...... oh my God!

I ever said to my colleagues that people come people go. Look at it this way, people have to die so that people can be born and re-live. It's so ironic. That's life!

Da-sao is going for her check-up this Sat. They were planning to come over our place but the Empress said No Visiting, Must Stay At Home!. Hence.... no no... Da-sao very noti, she said:"since she said no visiting, but tomorrow i need to see doctor? how? ask the doctor come?"
Actually it really mean nothing. People used to say No Visiting during confinement cos the mother is dirty. (as she's having menses). What's the rational here? I really dunno. If it is mother should avoid outing, wind and inconvenience. Yes, i agree. Look, they are going to take a cab, go hospital, have lunch at the canteen, buy things at convenience store.... So? To me, so long as you wear proper clothing, maybe thicker/thermal pants, long sleeve clothings.

Don't tell me not to bath for 1 month, not to wash hair during the hot/sweaty days... Gosh, it's unhygienic and causing bacteria not only yourself but to the family. Ok, do it in great care and the right temperature. Caesarian is just like any other operation. Unless it's natural delivery when there is more wind in your body so maybe 1 week with dry cleaning. Yuks, imagine below already very bloody, sweaty and itchy, and the hair/scalp is oily and sticky, and upper part is milky and stinko. It stink man! Faint! They did that in old China because of weather and the culture passed down for centuries. Dun forget, bacteria grows fast in humid condition....

Da-sao asked me whether she can eat durian? i said y not? but 2 seeds only arh.... ha ha... So long as you dun take cool and cold stuff and not too much of everything. My chinese sinseh confirmed it's ok to take durian but not too much as it'll cause heatiness. So, do with sense.
